Hollywood A-lister Colin Farrell has had his fair share of critics for his hellraising ways but when US critics compared him with Scots hunk Ewan McGregor the Irishman was less than happy.
After a screening of his newest film A Home At The End of The World, where Farrell's manhood gets an airing, critics declared: 'He's no Ewan McGregor.'
The Scots star is known for his generous proportions and love of appearing nude - but test screenings for Farrell's new movie seemed to be too too much for some of the audience, who thought it was too distracting.
So Colin's chopper was given the celluloid snip - which was just as well, since one critic claimed it wasn't up to the measurements of serial flasher Ewan in films such as Trainspotting and Young Adam.
Colin concedes the Scot may have a bigger lightsabre, adding: 'Those b******. Some said 'He's no Ewan McGregor'
When asked what that could mean Colin chuckled: 'Hung like a Jedi.'
The fiery Irishman is more angry about the furore of interest about his tackle in the movie about a love triangle between two men and a woman .
At the screening women were screaming and yelling when they saw Colin in all his glory and he and the film's makers decided it was too distracting. He added: 'I think that the problem is that they're just going, 'Oh my God, Colin Farrell's c**k.
'Was it too big? Was it too small? Was it too wide? Was it too skinny? Was it an innie or an outtie?' Do you know what I mean? I know the reason that it was cut out was that it just wasn't right.
'It's a beautiful, gentle moment and a having everything revealed like that was just jarring.
'It was partly my decision to cut it out. I wouldn't have shot the scene if I had a problem with flashing everything.'
Now his female fans will probably have to wait for the DVD version of the new film to be released before they get a chance to ogle his privates.
However he measures up in that department is one thing - but it is a certainty that Colin is big business.
