IT was shopping galore in the Southside on Sunday as Big Brother star Federico Martone launched his vintage event at a nightclub.
Hundreds of vintage lovers packed into The Shed on Langside Road to attend the launch of Afternoon Twee - and got their hands on some fantastic finds.
An array of dresses, hats, shoes, gorgeous jewellery and accessories were onsale at The Shed's first ever daytime event. And the event was so busy that at times, elbows were as must to clamber from stall to stall!
Hailed a great success for shoppers and stall holders alike, the fair is set to become a regular event due to its immense popularity.
Local vintage boutique Ruby Tuesdays was in attendance as were Pure Brass Jewellery, Rare and Flair and many more.
Event organiser Federico Martone was shocked by just how large the audience was for the Southside vintage-themed event.
He said: "I thought I would stand outside and do some flyering for the first half hour, but it became apparent I was in the way of a stampeding herd!
"I had people approaching me from five different directions - I felt like the guy in the Lynx advert!".
Owner of The Shed, Michele Pagliocca was pleased with the afternoon, speaking to ICScotland, he said: "It was a very good event and was a great success.
"Lots of locals attended and it was something new for Shawlands.
"All of the stalls done well and another one is being planned for next month."
