Liz Lochhead to perform at The Ivory in Shawlands tonight (May 11)

AN EXCITING evening of poetry will take place tonight (Wed May 11) in Shawlands.
Scots Makar, Liz Lochhead will be performing some of her favourites at The Ivory Hotel on Camphill Avenue.
Tickets are £2 and the event will kick off at 7pm with some short interviews before Liz takes the stage.
The Lanarkshire born poet and playwright was confirmed as the new Scots Makar in January after the death of Edwin Morgan last August.
