This year's JD Set has already seen Tim Wheeler and friends honour Pixies in London, Glasgow will be treated to Sharleen Spiteri and her collaborators pay homage to David Bowie, while Manchester's JD Set sees Mani and friends re-interpret The Smiths.

The JD Set in Glasgow takes place at the O2 ABC2 where Scotland’s very own SHARLEEN SPITERI and a host of friends will pay tribute to one of music’s most enduring songwriters on Wednesday20th April , 2011. Taking songs from ‘Hunky Dory’ alongside other classics from DAVID BOWIE,Sharleen will be joined by Ian McCulloch, Kate Nash, the hotly tipped Ramona, Steve Mason and other special guests.

The winner will be the first correct answer selected at random from all valid entries as soon as practicable after the Closing Date. The winner will be contacted via email by April 15th. The draw will be supervised by an independent person.
If the original winner cannot be contacted following reasonable efforts, is unable to verify their age or if the original winner is not available to take the prize, an alternative winner will be selected. Winners’ details will be available after this date by sending an SAE marked “JD Set Competition - Winners” to the Promoter at the address below.
The prize is non transferable and there is no cash alternative.
