Snow Patrol to headline gig at Glasgow's Bellahouston Park

INDIE rockers Snow Patrol are set to play a special one-off outdoor gig in Glasgow this June.

The band will be headlining a day of music at Bellahouston Park on Saturday june 12. And joining them will be the fantastic Editors, Band of Horses and Frightened Rabbit.

Snow Patrol, who  have always had a special relationship with Glasgow, have chosen Bellahouston Park as the location for their only outdoor appearance on mainland UK soil this year. The day is set to be bursting with great music and kicking off the set on the day are Selkirk-born indie band, Frightened Rabbit.

Following on from the European wide success of their third album, ‘In This Light And On This Evening’, Editors will be giving fans a fantastic set at this one-off gig.

Scottish music lovers will get the chance to enjoy a unique one-day festival without having to leave Glasgow, and tickets are predicted to sell out fast.

Sister event which has been announced for Ward Park in Northern Ireland has already sold over 30,000 tickets so fans should get their tickets fast in order to be in with a chance of seeing this amazing bill at Bellahouston – the summer has never sounded so good!
