Managed to get tickets? Made your travel arrangements? Only one thing left to do, pack!

If you are one of the 50,000 people who hold camping passes you'll need to be prepared. A tent and sleeping bag are obvious necessities, as is an inflatible pillow, that is if you do manage to grab some sleep throughout the action packed weekend. If you cannot manage without sleep, a wise investment would be in a pair of ear plugs, as the camp site can get noisy at night.

Other essential items to survive the weekend are toilet roll as the toilets on the campsite cannot always be relied on. Looking your best after a three day music festival is not always easy, so items such as deodorant, Oral B Brush Aways and dry shampoo can be life savers!

For those girls who find festivals a bit of a nightmare when it comes to hygiene, then the revolutionary She Pee is a must have. For full details take a look at www.shepee.co.uk.

A change of clothes is another essential as the Scottish weather can be rather unpredicatable. With any luck sunglasses, a hat and sun tan lotion will be needed. Also don't forget your aftersun as most Scots are prone to burn rather than tan! However if the weather doesn't go to plan a waterproof mac is a must have if you want to take in the many acts without getting soaked. Should it rain then wellies are another vital item, for there is nothing worse than walking about with wet feet! For at night remember a warm wooly jumper in case it gets cold.

If you want to capture the fun of the festival then take a disposable camera, as taking any other valuable device is a risk. Also remember that any device which can record video or sound is not allowed on site.

Lastly remember to bring money! It  may sound obvious but if you forget you will need to queue for a long time for an ATM. However it is advisable not to carry too much cash around with you and always be on the look out for pickpockets.

If you manage to get all these items into your bag then you should be able to survive the weekend and concentrate on enjoying the music. The only other must have now is to get a good spot to watch the acts!
