Blur to headline at T in the Park 2009

Recently reformed Blur have been confirmed to headline the main stage at this year’s T in the Park. The brit poppers will grace the stage on Saturday 11th July at Balado marking it as one of the band’s first performances in six years. Making the appearance even more special, this will be the bands one and only show in Scotland this summer. Already confirmed for TITP 2009 are Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon and Katy Perry. T in the Park has been shortlisted for this year’s “Best Live Event” for 2009’s NME awards. Vote online at http://www.nme.com/awards
