Points More Important Than Flair As Gers Bid To Stay Ahead Of The Rest

RANGERS fans don't want to see Kenny Miller back at the club - but only because he is not good enough.

The striker was linked to a move to Rangers from Derby last month and revealed yesterday he would have no problem crossing the Old Firm divide again if the call came.

But Rangers Supporters' Trust spokesman Stephen Smith said: "It would go down like a lead balloon. The fans have made it clear at games Miller would not be welcomed back.

"We are looking to move on and bring in better players than we already have, not to take a step backwards.

"It doesn't make any difference that he's played for Celtic.

If a player like Mark Viduka was available at a decent price, most fans would agree he would do a good job for us."
