LYON star Karim Benzema reckons his side can keep on winning in the Champions League after dumping Rangers out of the competition. The 19-year-old killed off Rangers' hopes with two impressive late strikes in the 3-0 victory at Ibrox and wants more glory. He said: "That's the best we've played since the beginning of this season's Champions League. "In the crucial moments, we showed we have what it takes to win, as the big teams always do. Against Rangers we discovered we can be a real force in Europe. "Teams must now fear Olympique Lyonnais again. I really feel this team can do something big in the Champions League." Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas agreed with the young star striker. Aulas said:"To win at Ibrox is a considerable achievement. I think we now have the confidence to go anywhere and win." |
