KILMARNOCK stopper Grant Murray has had exploratory surgery to discover the extent of his knee injury.
Murray has been sidelined since the CIS Cup defeat to Hamilton in September after damaging his cartilage.
Boss Jim Jefferies thought he'd be out for a month but the injury has not cleared up.
Jeff said: "We're keeping our fingers crossed the operation shows it's nothing serious."
