INVERNESS boss Craig Brewster will accept winning ugly if it keeps his side out of trouble. The Highland outfit's display in beating St Mirren last week wasn't pretty but Brew will take a repeat against Dundee United tomorrow. He said: "At the end of the day the performances don't count, it's the results that matter most and it was a big result last Saturday. "It takes us a point ahead of Falkirk, a point behind St Mirren and puts us back in the pack. "I always stress the importance of performances to players but we didn't play well against Saints and they passed it better than us." Brewster is no nearer finding a replacement for assistant Donald Park. He said: "We can't go rushing into anything. There has been speculation about Malky Thompson coming back but I haven't ruled anyone in or out." |
