HIBS were last night handed a huge boost when Guillaume Beuzelin was passed fit to start Sunday's Edinburgh derby. The Frenchman is back in contention to face Hearts at Easter Road just three weeks after undergoing knee surgery. Beuzelin had his operation during the international break to clear up a minor problem on the cruciate which kept him out for nine months last year. The midfielder has been playing through the pain barrier and further aggravated the injury during the recent 1-0 win at Ibrox Hibs suffered their only two SPL defeats - against Motherwell and StMirren - in his absence. But the 26-year-old resumed full training this week and is almost certain to partner Brian Kerr in central midfield this weekend. |
