STEVEN PRESSLEY successfully came through his first 90 minutes since back surgery only nine weeks ago in yesterday's Old Firm reserve match. The defender, who hasn't featured for Celtic since the Scottish Cup Final in May, said: "It was an ideal game because of the level of competitiveness. Every day I get stronger and I just need games now. I genuinely believe this surgery will prolong my playing career." Shunsuke Nakamura is set for a spell on the sidelines as he tries to shake off a problem with a lateral knee ligament. The Japanese playmaker feels a rest is required to cure the problem. |
