Daily Record

DROPPED Falkirk defender Tam Scobbie insists he has learned his lesson and is ready to return to first-team action.

The 19-year-old was axed after enduring a tough afternoon at Tynecastle a fortnight ago in a 4-2 defeat.

Scobbie, left, said: "Although we worked hard, Hearts moved the ball about quickly and made it difficult for us. I was up against Laryea Kingston, technically one of the best in the SPL. It was a great experience and hopefully I can learn from that and improve.

"Every game is still a learning curve for me. I'm just trying to get as many games as possible under my belt.

"I know I still need to work on things as well but I hope I'm back involved for the game against Aberdeen on Sunday."
