DUNDEE UNITED skipper Barry Robson faces a month on the sidelines after being sent off at Aberdeen last weekend. He was flashed a straight red carded for a horror tackle on Chris Maguire and that keeps him out of this weekend's meeting against Kilmarnock. But his poor record means the Scotland squad man will be out for a total of three games. He misses another match for going through the points threshold and one for having done so last season. Robson has six disciplinary points since the start of the season and if whistler Kenny Clark confirms he was dismissed for violent conduct he will land an additional 12 - and the two-match ban. Boss Craig Levein will be handed the news this morning but has already braced himself for the prospect of being without his influential skipper for games against Hibs on November 24 and Inverness Caley Thistle seven days later. Leveinsaid: "It's disappointing to lose him as he has been superb this season but it was Barry's own doing and he is the one who will miss out." |
