CHARLIE NICHOLAS reckons Celtic need to score tonight in the San Siro if they're to stand any chance of progressing through to the last 16 of the Champions League. And the former Scotland striker admits his old club could be in for a repeat of their backs-to-the-wall display in Milan last season when Kaka's extra-time strike was all that separated the sides. Nicholas said: "I can't see the Celtic defence holding firm for 90 minutes so they will have to score. "They kept a clean sheet last season before losing in extra time and it was a great effort. It will take another gutsy performance but the obvious concern is the defence. "It's pretty suspect at times but the fans won't complain if it takes another backs-to-the-wall performance to get through." |
