Uefa Cup Crunch...

STEVE ARCHIBALD reckons his old club Aberdeen are facing 90 minutes of hell in Madrid tonight.

The Dons take on Atletico but former Pittodrie favourite Archibald, a pal of director of football Willie Miller, said: "Aberdeen are meeting them at exactly the wrong time.

"Unfortunately for my old club Atletico are buzzing just now.

"The star performers are all turning it on for them."

Archibald, who still lives in Barcelona, also warned the Dons they will face some of the most fervent supporters in football.

He said: "They are undoubtedly among the most passionate fans in the world.

"They can be downright hostile at times and are an intimidating bunch.

"All in all, I think my old club are in for a torrid time of it."
