A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two bodies were found at a block of flats in Walsall, in the West Midlands.

A 69-year-old woman was found in a flat in Acacia Avenue on the Yew Tree Estate with fatal injuries.

The body of a man believed to be in his 30s was discovered by officers on ground behind the apartments.

Police arrested a 43-year-old man at the scene.

"We are not seeking anybody else at this stage in connection with the deaths," Detective Inspector Warren Hines said. We believe all the parties involved were known to each other."

Police forensics teams are at the scene.
