Berezovsky to pay £35m legal costs

Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky will pay £35 million towards Roman Abramovich's legal costs after losing a High Court battle, a judge has been told. Mr Berezovsky had sued the Chelsea Football Club owner over deals done in Russia and claimed more than £3 billion in damages. But earlier this year a High Court judge dismissed his claims and ruled in favour of Mr Abramovich. Lawyers told the High Court in London that Mr Berezovsky has agreed to pay £35 million towards Mr Abramovich's costs. The court was given no detail about the total costs run up by Mr Berezovsky.
