50-year-old charged with murder

A man has been charged with the murder of another man who was found dead earlier this month. Nottinghamshire Police said Peter Healy, of Lord Nelson Street, Sneinton, Nottingham, was charged on Friday night with the murder of Kevin Kennedy, 50. Mr Kennedy's body was found on land between Rossington Road and Burrows Court, Sneinton, on August 8. A post-mortem examination into the cause of his death proved inconclusive. Healy, also 50, will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court charged with murder, actual bodily harm and theft.
