Two held after man hurt in fracas

 

Two people have been arrested after a man was injured in a disturbance, police said.

Police and ambulance crews were called to an address in Duncan Street, Banff, Aberdeenshire, where the 45-year-old was found.

He was taken to Dr Grays Hospital in Elgin after police were alerted to the incident at around 12.15am on Saturday.

Grampian Police said a 30-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident and are in custody.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
