Three arrested in £1.2m drugs raid

Police have seized £1.2 million worth of drugs during a raid on commercial premises in a city centre.

Officers acting under warrant searched the property in Bridge Street, Glasgow, in an intelligence-led operation at about 7.15pm on Tuesday.

They discovered a large cannabis cultivation site with thousands of plants.

Two boys, aged 16 and 17, and a 20-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the seizure.

They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.
