Search launched for missing walker

A search is under way for a walker who disappeared on Sunday.

William Robb, 75, was last seen at about 10.30am when he was out walking with friends on the Speyside Way, in Fochabers, Moray.

Mr Robb, who is from the Aberdeen area, is described as being about 5ft 6in tall, with a slim build and receding grey hair which is long at the back and sides.

He was wearing a blue Gore-Tex shell jacket with trousers, hiking boots, and was carrying a green rucksack.

Grampian Police appealed for Mr Robb to contact officers, or a family member to confirm he is safe.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact the force on 0845 600 5700.
