Police name woman who died at house

 

A 59-year-old woman who was found dead at a house has been named by police.

Mary McCracken, who was known to family and friends as Marie, was injured at a property in Old Coach Road, East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, at about 10.45pm on Wednesday.

She died at the scene.

A 61-year-old woman has been arrested and is in custody in connection with the death, Strathclyde Police said.

She is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
