Police name bus fall death woman

 

An elderly woman who died in hospital after falling on a bus has been named by police.

Dorothy Burns, 85, from Grangemouth, injured her arm in the fall at around 1.20pm on Monday January 30.

She hurt herself on a public service bus which had been travelling along the town's Bo'ness Road near the junction with Abbots Road.

Ms Burns was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert, Falkirk, but her condition worsened and she died on Friday.

Central Scotland Police have asked anyone who saw what happened to contact them on 01786 456 000.
