No prosecution of rail fare row man

A man caught on camera throwing an alleged fare dodger off a train will not be prosecuted, the Crown Office said.

The video, which shows Alan Pollock removing teenager Sam Main from the ScotRail service in December, was watched by millions of people online.

The clip, filmed on another passenger's mobile phone, became an internet sensation after it was posted on YouTube.

It shows Mr Main, 19, in dispute with a ScotRail conductor about an alleged unpaid fare before being lifted and thrown off the train by another passenger.
