Man remanded over sex attack charge

A man has appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a four-year-old boy in a supermarket toilet.

Christopher Morrison, 19, was also charged with theft following the incident at Asda in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, on Tuesday last week.

He was arrested by Strathclyde Police on Saturday.

Morrison, from Elderslie, Renfrewshire, made no plea or declaration at Dumbarton Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.

He is expected to make a further appearance in court within the next week.
