Man, 50, arrested in drugs inquiry

 

A 50-year-old man has been arrested after a police raid uncovered drugs worth £1.2 million.

It is the fourth arrest in connection with the discovery of a cannabis farm at a commercial premises in Glasgow city centre.

Officers found thousands of plants during a search at the property in Bridge Street at about 7.15pm on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court along with two men aged 16 and 17, and a 20-year-old woman.
