Four jailed for attempted murder

Four men have been jailed for attempting to murder a businessman who was shot in the head as he left a casino in Edinburgh.

Tony Demarco, 63, survived the attack but was left with a bullet lodged in his cheek.

Francis McGlone, 39, Jamie Robertson, 25, Imran Sakur, 35, and Craig Kelbie, 35, were found guilty of conspiring to murder and attempting to murder Mr Demarco following a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh last month. Robertson, Sakur and Kelbie were each jailed for 11 years and McGlone was given 10 years on Tuesday.
