Five quizzed over kidnap allegation

Four men and a woman are being questioned in Northern Ireland by detectives investigating a kidnapping.

One of the five was detained in Scotland.

They were also interviewed about false imprisonment and blackmail, according to a police spokesperson.

Four were detained in Omagh, Co Tyrone, over the weekend and on Monday the Police Service of Northern Ireland revealed they had been granted another 36 hours to question the five.
