Driver killed in road accident

 

A 39-year-old man has died in a road crash.

He was driving a Toyota Celica in Craigie Road, Kilmarnock, when the car left the road at around 11.30pm on Sunday.

Emergency services attended and the man, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Strathclyde Police issued an appeal for any witnesses to contact officers.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
