Body found in search for hillwalker

A body has been found by rescue teams searching for a missing hillwalker on the Isle of Skye.

The 60-year-old man has not been seen since around 2.30pm on Thursday, when a member of the public saw him fall at Glenbrittle in the Cuillin Hills.

Northern Constabulary said a body was found at around 11am on Saturday.

The force said no further details would be released until next of kin had been informed.

Police, the RAF, mountain rescue teams and search and rescue dogs were all involved in the hunt for the man.
