Bike-fall cyclist dies in hospital

 

A cyclist has died after falling off his bike.

Thomas Anderson, 48, was injured in the accident on an unclassified road near Dunkeld, Perthshire at around 6.45pm on Saturday.

He was airlifted to Southern General Hospital in Glasgow where he died.

Tayside Police said that no other vehicles appear to have been involved.

It is thought Mr Anderson was cycling with a group.
