The charity evening at Browns restaurant in Edinburgh on January 26th was a complete success, helping to raise more than £600 for the Maggie's Cancer Care Charity.
Over 600 raffle tickets were sold to guests as they enjoyed the new-look bar and sipped complimentary champagne and canapés.
Maggie's volunteer Caroline Morton said: 'It's great to raise a glass with the team at Browns, whilst raising £600 for Maggie's. People were very generous on the night and are likely to give more money if they know where it's going and when it's a local charity'.
Browns Manager Sarah Fox added: 'We had a terrific night and the atmosphere was fantastic - it was the perfect opportunity to raise money and show off our new bar at the same time'.
The George Street restaurant is the only Browns in Scotland and in true Browns tradition the building is steeped in history; dating back to 1767! It was established as part of the Browns chain in 1998 and has attracted local residents, tourists and students ever since.
With the help of the refurbishment, the restaurant is sure to attract even more new faces to the unique Browns dining experience.
