VIP Sunday

Shoppers in Edinburgh can look forward to being pampered as the programme for ‘Month of Sundays’ gets underway.
Backed by the Open For Business group, Month of Sundays has highlighted Edinburgh’s splendid shopping scene with the chance to sample the VIP lifestyle with some fabulous events for adults and children.
Visitors to the city will have the chance to live the highlife as part of the ‘VIP Sunday’, which takes place on Sunday 21st September.  Take the stress out of looking for that perfect outfit with the help of a personal shopper and relax with some delicious chocolates and champagne.  Shoppers also have the chance to win some fantastic prizes!

To tempt you even more, here is a little taster of what shoppers can look forward to:

- Jenners will have style advise and one to one consultations with a glass of bubbly from Karen Millen and half hour Men’s personal shopping sessions with wine and cocktails

- John Lewis will be demonstrating their latest products in the audio/tv department and shoppers will have the chance to win a £500 TV as well as enjoying a free glass of Cava in The Place to Eat from 12:30 – 2:30.

- Laing the Jeweller are offering free rings checks and clean plus a glass of fizz or a cappuccino

On the last Sunday of the month, 28th September, the city will present a ‘Vintage vs Future Fashion’ spectacular. Shoppers can get a preview of the latest trends at a fashion show and get helpful hints from stylists on how to achieve that perfect retro look.
Graham Birse, Chairman of the Open For Business Group and Deputy Chief Executive of Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce said: “The festival might be over, but there is still a lot of excitement and fun on offer in Edinburgh for all ages with this great selection of events. Month of Sundays has taken the city’s already great shopping scene and added some fantastic activity around it, and businesses are really looking forward to welcoming visitors to their stores across the month to enjoy a series of relaxed, enjoyable Sundays.”
