SPRING INTO SUMMER WITH THE EATING PLACE

Summer is on the way and Edinburgh City Centre Management Company is inviting shoppers to sample some of Scotland’s finest local produce at a very special street market called The Eating Place. This unique market takes place at the city’s recently enhanced Castle Street and offers shoppers the chance to sample fine food al fresco.

Aimed at young professionals and late night shoppers, The Eating Place is held on the last Thursday of every month with the next event taking place on Thursday 26th April from 3pm – 7pm.

As the sun stays out for longer, shoppers will be able to pick up healthy options to cook at home or enjoy a mouth-watering snack on the move as a treat whilst shopping. With some of the finest foods from around the world, The Eating Place has something for everyone.

For succulent and exotic fresh meats, French pate and the finest fish, Mrs Hamilton’s Organic Beef & Lamb, Arbroath Quality Fish, Kezie Ltd, Puddledub Buffalo, La Table de Guillaume, Shaw Meats and Well Hung and Tender have everything a hungry carnivore could possibly need to cook up a feast.

A freshly prepared meal from producers A Taste of Greece or Eastern Twist is ideal for popping in the oven whilst browsing through the day’s purchases and nibbling on some gorgeous fresh bread from Trusty Crust Organic Bakery.

Or for that extra special something, visit Les Vins de France, Border tablet, Hot Chocolates, Olives & Things or Trees Can’t Dance.
