Food lover’s heaven as dine around launches in the East of Scotland
Diners in the East of Scotland will have the chance to sample the menus of some of the areas best eateries at the great value fixed price of £15 as VisitScotland launches its hugely successful Dine Around offer in the area.
Following in the footsteps of previous Dine Around menu offers in Glasgow and Edinburgh, forty four restaurants in Angus & Dundee, Perthshire and the Kingdom of Fife will be offering the fixed price menus from Monday 19th February until Friday 30th March
Perthshire, Angus and Dundee and the Kingdom of Fife are renowned for their local produce, which includes great fish and seafood, locally-reared beef, lamb and game, berries and seasonal vegetables and diners can expect some of Scotlands most scrumptious culinary treats as well as tasty food from around the globe.
As well as the Dine Around deal, some hotels across the three regions will be tempting visitors to stay a little longer with special rates throughout the period of the promotion. A walk along the beach or a chance to take in the breathtaking scenery, as well as staying the night in a charming hotel will prove to be an incredibly tempting offer after a fabulous meal!
VisitScotland are working in partnership with 5pm.co.uk, the UKs leading free online restaurant reservation operation, to give consumers the additional option of making an immediate online reservation, with a number of the participating restaurants offering an online booking facility which will go live on the www.dinearoundscotland.co.uk site at the beginning of February. This partnership means that details of the Dine Around East of Scotland promotion will also be communicated to 5pm.co.uks database of over 150,000 Central Scotland subscribers.
Dine Around will give diners the chance to catch up with friends and help clear away those winter blues as well as being an ideal opportunity to discover some of the hidden gems of the culinary scene throughout Angus & Dundee, the Kingdom of Fife and Perthshire.
Ewan Fairweather, Sector Development Manager at VisitScotland said, Angus & Dundee, Perthshire and the Kingdom of Fife are three of the countrys most exciting areas when it comes to great, local produce and the Dine Around offer will give visitors to these regions as well as locals the chance to discover a wide variety of eateries. Whether diners are looking for a rural hideaway, the bustling city centre or a meal by the sea, Dine Around East of Scotland has it all.
Amanda Masson, Sales Director with 5pm.co.uk adds, This particular promotion is sure to capture the imagination of those who enjoy eating out in the East of Scotland. We are delighted to collaborate with VisitScotland on this innovative project.
