Beef Stroganoff

You will Need:

  • 2 Ibs. of beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • 12-14 0z. fresh mushrooms, halved or quartered, depending on size
  • 1-2 onions chopped
  • flour to coat beef
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 ounces of sour cream

 

  1. Heat dutch oven or large skillet put in a whole stick of butter.
  2. Put 1/2 to 1 cup of flour in a plastic bag into this add beef strips to coat.
  3. Put coated beef in melted butter and brown, add onions, mushrooms and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. When all is browned add beef bouillon, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Heat through than add sour cream and heat a few minutes longer.
  6. Serve with rice or noodles and enjoy!
